Mayday! Mayday! Gardens from Cultivating Connections

Join your neighbors in building resilience for the Bitterroot Valley by growing your own food.  Sign up for your FREE ready-to-plant ‘Mayday! Garden’ now, and start a relationship with ‘Your Future Food’!

Mayday! Gardens include swiss chard, kale, broccoli, cabbage, flowers and herbs, tomatoes, lettuce, & kohlrabi plant starts, as well as seeds for cucumbers, bush beans, winter squash, and summer squash.  Your Future Food will need approximately 30 square feet of planting space, which could be in a long strip, a square, in planting boxes or pots, or anywhere with soil, sun, and access to water!

Spring Mayday! Gardens will be available for pick up on Friday, May 8th from 4-7pm or Sunday, May 10th from 1-3pm at Homestead Organics Farm, south of Hamilton.

Summer Mayday! Gardens will be available for pick-up on Friday, June 19, or Sunday, June 21.  Summer Mayday! Gardens will include many of the same vegetables and can provide food for your family into the fall. If you have already signed up for a spring Mayday! garden, you are welcome to sign up again for a summer garden as well. Sign-ups for Summer Mayday! Gardens begin mid-May.

Believe in your own capacity and potential!  Get involved in being part of the solution! Step forward into our future possibilities and together we will emerge from this time of great disruption a resilient community - stronger, healthier, and more connected!
